Mishael Morgan of the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless made history on Friday at the 49th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.The 35-year-old performer became the first Black woman to take home the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actress at the event in Pasadena, California.For the monumental occasion she turned heads in a two-paneled black and rose-print gown with a wide train skirt.
